Our active participation in authoring property reviews, ratings, pictures, videos, and helpful tips help to build the content that is valuable to both you and the internet public. It also puts pressure on the travel and lodging industry to “Green Up” their businesses. At the same time it helps to raise the awareness of environmental concerns and their impact on the world.

I Stay Green lists just over 240 cities that have hotels that are forward thinking and have a vested interest in the well being of our evironment. When you write a “Green” Property Review you’re not only providing valuable information to other people like yourself, who care about the environment . . . You’re also creating accountability for the property owners and what they’re doing to be environmentally responsible. As more and more visitors share their “Green” Property Reviews, a true picture of what the property is doing to benefit (or harm) the environment will develop. This is where iStayGreen.org is “Empowering you to make a difference”! Properties that are not responsive to environmental concerns ultimately will be forced to make positive changes or lose business.

The evolution of greening our everyday routines is up to us. It starts with each an every individual. We understand not everyone is as passionate as we are at Plan It Green. However, if you really think about just the little things, you do can make a difference without little or no effort. The events industry is a big part of the worlds leading cause of extreme waste. Plan It Green is doing what it can to take care of this challenge. So while we strive to improve on the big issues, we challenge all of you to help take care of the smaller issues that will certainly have an impact with significant results.
